Perfect Puff Pastry Participation!!

WOW!! Perhaps you noticed my pointed penchant for alliteration. I can’t find any more “p’s”, so I’ll stop now.

We had so much yesterday playing with Puff Pastry.

We explored savory and sweet variations. We experimented with different shapes of pastries. I learned so much from everyone. It was a blast.

The variations on flavor combinations were endless. Combining sweet and savory. Making pinwheels, palmiers, cross overs. Using butternut squash puree with ham and asparagus.

Making individual Tarte Tartin. The simplicity of the shapes, the variety of the flavor combination. The whole class expressed joy and ate till they were stuffed!! I couldn’t have had a better time.

Looking forward to our trip to visit my family in Phoenix and Santa Fe. My niece tells me the daytime temperatures are already in the 90’s. That dry heat is bearable.
