Tis the season!

The summer months have been amazingly busy. Traveling to Sicily and Puglia was the most incredible time for me. I ate myself silly. I saw great meals prepared by people who understood how to create dishes with the most basic of ingredients.

So now I’m raring to go. I am looking forward to the cooler weather. That’s my favorite time.

I am ready to bake, bake, bake!

I’ve already added items to the calendar. Each week’s offerings will be available from Sunday till Friday to order. Pickups are always on Saturday morning. I bake everything FRESH that morning so you can pick up warm treats.

You spoke, I listened. Sourdough Sandwich Bread will be available at least once or twice each month. Whether you like a slice of toast smeared with delicious butter, or you want a sandwich for breakfast, lunch or dinner, this sandwich bread is perfection. The crumb is so tender and flavorful. Cinnamon Buns are available next week and again in the Fall.

There will be Bavarian PRETZELS!! I love a big, chewy, flavorful pretzel with a drizzle of mustard!!

Pumpkin Pound Cake has the pumpkin puree that I process myself seasoned with Autumn Spice that I grind from whole spices such as Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Ginger, Allspice, and a few others. Jars of Autumn Spice are available in the shop as well.

So today, I’m baking Focaccia and a Sourdough Boule. This weekend, I’m test baking some new Holiday Cookies to consider for the Holiday Cookie Tray.
